MENSTRUAL HYGIENE DAY AND GIRL POWER

On Menstrual Hygiene Day, the Loveaid Foundation, in collaboration with the National Youth Authority, Eco-Flo Initiative, Mac Garbhins Network, Ho-CSO’s Platform, and Youth Alliance for Sustainability is organizing the ‘Girl Power Program’ along side Menstrual Hygiene awareness at the Ho Bankoe RC Girls School Complex. This empowering event aims to educate young girls on personal and menstrual hygiene, promoting self-awareness and confidence.

With the theme ‘Together for a Period-Friendly World’ and the motto for the Girl Power Launch,, ‘My Strength, My Value, My Time, It’s My Movement,’ this program seeks to create a supportive environment where girls can learn, share, and grow together. By addressing the importance of menstrual hygiene and self-care, this initiative strives to break down stigmas and foster a culture of inclusivity and empowerment among young women. By working together, we can create a brighter, more sustainable future for all.McGharbins Networks Youth Alliance for Leadership and Development in Africa (YALDA) National Youth Authority CSO Platform on SDGs Ghana
